Default Fuel Gun or Fuel Bottle (Which is Best??)

I am going to try nitro this year and wanted to know what I should use. I have a fuel bottle but am thinking that a fuel gun would be much quicker.

I am looking for the pros and cons and which one you guys prefer. Thanks.

I use both, i got a cheap fuel bottle from a lhs, i use this for qualifers since most of the time we run 6 min so we warm up for 2-3 min and come in for a top off b4 the loop goes live(ifmar style) and i bought a losi fuel gun, im happy with it just wish i didnt have problems with the trigger, its been sticking, but nothing some lube doesnt fix, i havent seen or heard anyone else having that issue. with theres. my dad is great with a fuel gun, many times ive came in second and came out first. i used to think, why waste money on a fuel gun, my bottle works fine. but i had tried one out one night when i was pitting a buddy and i was sold

Losi. It leaks a bit but is fast and shuts off accurately with a full tank. It is also clear(ish) so you can see when the fuel stops(you know the tank is full) and how much fuel you used. For $30 it's not bad.

Same gun I have and so far I like it, I did build a holder to keep it upright while on pit lane...

You won't catch any of the Pro's or even local fast guys using a bottle in pit lane during the mains.

I use a Losi gun but mine is backwords of yours mudboger. Mine leaks from the trigger when it's full holding it nozzle down so you have to fill it then hold it nozzle up when the car comes in flip it quick and hit the trigger.

I use a fuel bottle unless someone is pitting for me have their own gun, I could care less because I need to drive better anyway, that 2.5 seconds I would gain from a fuel bottle will be gone as soon as I land on my lid and the marshal is play tiddly winks with his daughter. soooooooo. I don't see a point in fuel bottle at this point of my RC racing career

Yep, that's where I'm at myself...

Until I can go an entire main and not flip, or need to be marshalled (unless I get hacked by someone else), I'll stick with the good 'ole fuel bottle.

I bought a Losi fuel gun recently and have used it 2 races. It seems like it helps alot, But I got to thinking. I race a Kyosho MP9 and it has that hole that goes from the back of the fuel tank down the bottom of the chassis. I've had people overfill it WAY too much and say sorry that they got fuel everywhere and i take the body off and see absolutly NO fuel on the chassis. I haven't timed each individually but it seems that if you squeeze that bottle as hard as you can and watch it fill till the top and take it away, It would be quicker. Can anyone that runs a MP9 back me up on that one?
