Bobby - Haha...ok? I might see or talk to him tomorrow.

kahuna - There are a few if you look for them. I know 4wdrc.com had plenty of podcasts on their website, at least the last time I checked.

Aaron

I have a question about the M2C plates for the front and rear of the 8ight. Did you see a difference in handling between the stock and the M2C plates? Also, I see that I can purchase a -1* anti-dive plate for the front, what would the handling difference be between the stock and -1* plate?

Thanks for any input

I haven't personally run the M2C pivot blocks. I think the only time there would be any difference, is if your stock pivot block is bound up with dirt and not cleaned out. In that case, the M2C plate with the bushings would probably remain more free. Keep the pivot blocks clean and it should be fine.

I haven't ever tried anti-dive on my buggy either. 1 degree might not make much of a difference, but enough anti-dive could make the car upset when jumping or in bumps. Not to mention it would change caster and bump-steer.

Of course. Sorry that probably wasn't as much help as you had hoped for, haha.

Default Tires

What is the best way to balance tire's? Can I make a jig at home. Were do I start. I read on the Proline package to use a prop balancer and some puddy. Do I make up some sort of arbor from an old axel?

For 10th scale tires you can use a top flight magnetic prop balancer. I use poster puddy (Walmart, staples, home depot etc.) I have not tried to balance 8th scale tires yet.

Im curious has either panther or proline shown any interest in producing tires specific to the 8T's wheel diameter. I hate cutting the stupid things to make them fit on the 8T wheels.

Offroadracer3: The Dubro Tru-Spin prop balancer works awesome for anything from mini to 1/8 tires. Part number 499

Eric. What are you using to attach the wheel to the balancer shaft? That hole is pretty big in an 8th scale tire. The magnets are pretty strong on the top flight unit but I have not tried to figure out how to adapt the rim to the shaft.

This is the one I have been using.

Compact and you do not get much less resistance then not touching anything!

I use the Top Flight balancer and I use an extra wheel hub and nut, I attach them to the wheel then put the rod and cones on and balance. The Top Flight has enough magnetic strength to hold a 1/8 buggy tire.

Casper you can use this http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/4354 to balance 1/8 scale tires on the dubro balancer, it has worked real well for me so far!

The GRP Grip aned Cubic truggy tires are the same as the Losi 8T rim size. http://www.rcplanet.com/GRP_Grip_Tru...p/gangg07a.htm

Now the problem is we dont have rims yet from losi they are all on backorder...What about the GRP premounts wheels and tires with the grips mounted on them will those fit the losi, and is the offset correct?
