Proline V2 RIMS vs AKA RIMS & why?
I have a set of PL Hole Shots tires but iv been running PL Revolvers with AKA rims and no problems, so should I run AKA rims with my PL tires or get a set of PL V2 rims.

AKA's are lighter by 5grams per wheel I believe...
I've also had the PL V2's distort; I've yet to have an AKA do that.
AKA's also seem to glue up a touch better.
I've used both, it's not a huge difference. Size-wise they're the same for all intents, so it's more of a personal preference/brand loyalty tossup. (Other than the weight factor).

AKA wheels seem to be a touch larger are offers a tighter fit between the tire and wheel. It's a personal preference but I like it because it makes it easier to glue. But really it isn't a huge difference. Quality wise they are the same in my opinion. I have only tried 3 different brands of wheels, AKA, Proline and Losi. My favorite is AKA, Proline a close second, and third Losi. I have had problems with Losi wheels cracking but that could just be on my end.

Yea I mainly run AKA and then Proline second. The AKA's generally glue up very well-Specially tyres. And they feel slightly stiffer and cooler in my opinion. Yet to have one crack of distort, but proline had a few crack on my buggy.. But tbh the rims are much different.. but the tyres AKA all the way...
