Default The MAW Chronicles ----- Video

Excellent race. Great racing well into Sunday morning. I had 4 cameras 3 statics and one shoulder mount. My buddy David took care of the statics and shot some hd footage with his cam as well. 7 tapes plus what he got. Lots of excellent close up action. Including one trug smacking a camera that is unreal.
Didn't hurt the cam much. A slight crack in the plastic over the built in mic which I don't use anyways The clip was well worth the slight damage. Rain threat all day but it held of until after I had gone home. Slight delay then they went on with the rest of the mains. Huge crowd and we raised lots of dough to send Noah to Disney World. Another stellar showing from the R/C crowd when it comes to charity. I'm proud to have been a part of it.

These are some clips that caught my eye during capturing the tapes. A quick mash up with lots more to come.

Default Woudln't miss it for the world

No way I was going to miss that race. Even having a blowout didn't stop me. Although driving on that pizza cutter down twisty 1431 was a hoot. Especially going home as I had a lot of tailgaters with no way to let them by. Its a two laner with suspect shoulders or none at all. I can't believe all of the awesome clips the satellite cameras caught. You'll see some of that in the next vid. Looks like we killed the target too!!!! Preliminary count puts us at over 7500 bucks which is enough to send Noah on his trip and put half of another trip for another kid in the kitty. Awesome turn out and participation in the cause. R/C folks are a generous bunch. I love doing stuff like this. That good feeling lasts for weeks
