Depends on the track or tracks you are running. Also not to mention how much bottom end grunt the B3 has. If it was a tight technical track with lots of jumps, I would say alum shoes and heavier springs, vice versa for a more sweeping fast track. Also, the surface of the track comes into play. You also have to consider if you are running a 3 shoe or four shoe setup. Then there's composite shoes witch slip more than alum. Best bet would ask the fast guys at local track their setup. U will also notice certain setups are more to your driving style. A clutch setup is a verry usefull tunning tool and requires alot of testing to find what you like and best wear rate. Dynamite Max Life alum. shoes hold up verry well if your going that route. You can also mix alum. and composite shoes, sounds confusing and it is. No real answer to give you just experiment.

well i run a alum/carbon clutch setup, with a green on carbon and gold on alum but this is on a losi i guess, you could try that on your z buggy.
yea it depends on how you drive its really a feel thing , i found the gold on alum and green on carbon. works really good for wear, and smoothness i have tried a stiff clutch setup it hit to hard, for me and not to metion the wear on the clutch shoes.
