Engine flame out help
All,
I have an orion .21 alpha abi engine and i have run it several times. It is awesome!
However, now for some reason, it is flaming out on me. I was just messing with it in the garage and when i start it up then try to pull the glow plug igniter out, it flames out right away. The plug looks fine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

try a new plug. also there might be fuel biult up in there try to rev it A LITTLE to clear it out. Dont over rev it because it will be cold and you dont want to damage the engine.

That worked.
However, how long should a plug last?

I find myself changing them about every 7-8 tanks...is that normal?

7-8 tanks seem like an awful short glow plug life. That would be 2 dead plugs or more at a single club race. I would check your tune....or buy higher quality plugs (if you're not running them already). Everyone is different, but if your average for a single plug is 7-8 tanks....that's a bit short. If it's an occasional plug dying at 7-8 tanks them your on par with me at least. I typically blow a plug every 2-3 races.
