[QUOTE=got_nitro;7897008]This whole thread reads like a bunch of Hitec fan boys.[QUOTE]

This totally negates what you are trying to say, if you were just giving your opinion which you are entitled to do you should have left the jab out for people giving theres. With that I will just say this:

Your rod is short, your pump is weak, you best move up, you are pissing on your feet!

JR servos are IMO the best you can buy, they are tried and true and have been around forever. If you "ever" have a problem with a JR servo, you simply send it in. Oh yeah, they have a 3 year warranty and they don't fix their servos like Hitec does, they replace it for you with a brand new one.
I recommend,
9100T steering.
4800T throttle.
So true send in my 8800t and got a brand new 9100t no ? asked. The servo I'm using right now are the orion and so far i love them.Had them for six months and still no slop.Granted not much of a warranty but still happy

Don't come back and say "well Drake has more experience at this then you" cause I really don't care and It dosen't matter. What matters is my "opinion" which I have just as much right to post as you do.

Have a nice day.
That's a mature response. Have fun with your JR's. The rest of us will continue to use servos that actually work.

Are you a fanboy?

It was not a jab, I knew where this thread would go as I have read many postes by other fanboys. This is not the first time either.

With that said, I will just say this:

Im not a follower or a fanboy, Im a leader by my own personal experiences.

Yeah just like setting your end points too far right? That's another one of your evolutions. Maybe if you didn't use JR's you wouldn't have to do stupid crap like that.

The Hitec 7940, 7950 combo is awesome.

The latest Airtronics 94910 HV servo is also working very well.

I use hobbico CS170's on my buggy and I have not had any issue's in 2 seasons. Not sure of the speed, but I do know they have 333oz of torque. They are similar to Hi-tech servos. They are the same spline number. Plus, they are cheaper than the 7955TG.

It's a 7955TG servo for less, love it.

I did notice that the Hobbico and Hitec servos need grease on the gears, so you might add some after a bit of driving time and they break in...It makes a difference....

As for throttle My favorite is futaba BLS 451 I think. Their customer service is terrible, but the servos are choice in throttle duty, super fine resolution, and smooooth and fasssst...

But for steering yeah the Hitec 7955 is hands down the best servo I've used, not that there aren't other great servos out there, there are, so yall quit gettin all grouchy about it....yell on the drives stand too???? Not you Devildog..Hello I'm Mad Dog....
