You can never go wrong with Square Armors. They work in everywhere.

Default Updates?

Just got my Associated B74 in the mail and it got me curious to if there was any plans for the 1/10 tire program like Cellblocks maybe? I know this is the 1/8 tire thread but I just thought I'd ask if there was any new information. Thanks a bunch!

This past weekend I ran in the Nitro in the Rockies at LRC Raceway in Longmont, CO. Track was grooved with a layer of dust. I used Micro Contacts for the Quals and Whips for the buggy main. Car was better on the Whips, little more plush and easier to drive. On truck, I ran Carbides blue.

Carbide T tires take the top spot at the Minnesota State Offroad Championships. Allec also placed 6th in Nitro Buggy and the TQ and Win in 1/10 4wd Open. Awesome Job Allec Hins

Sweep Tires in the A-Main at Rick's Hobby Farm. Track went from mud to black groove in one day. Ran Whips to Microcontacts in buggy. Stayed with Defenders in Truggy as the team was comfortable with them and didn't want the unexpected, however I think Carbide T would have been money. There is video of the track conditions below during the Truggy A-Main.

not a direct race report, but from what we could tell at the last Dakota RC leg the sweep carbides looked like a very nice tire for the conditions.

Big fan of Whips!! I think that is going to be the go to tire on non blue-groove tracks. I think they are better than square armour and defenders. Better overall I think in every way.
To make a comparison (AKA), it has better spacing than Zipps and smaller tighter pins than Impacts. It's perfectly in the middle of those two. OR.....(Proline) they sit between Blockade and Fugitives. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed! No one has a tire like this. ...maybe Jconcepts.

so sort of like a proline Lockdown / James Racing revenger but with different pin spacing? For a track I frequent here could be a nice tire to try out.

Whips are the best tire in Sweeps line up IMO.... Now for a small pin truggy tire, Carbides are to compacted.

For those whips tires, what compounds are most similar to a proline X4, X3, M4, and M3?
