I went with Squares in Blue for now, after looking at the temperature chart and the fact it's almost always at least 80 around here

Thanks for the help. I'll probably switch all my rides over to Sweep.

Great support!

Ordered a set of Battlestar blue dots for my Tekno EB. My track is pretty rough so I’m thinking these will hook up. My Defender-Ts work just fine on the same track.

I think they will be awesome. We ended up racing in a Horse Arena last year due to a rain out, on a last minute track build. It developed ruts and potholes. I wished I had Battlestars in my tire selection at the time as they would have been ideal. Let us know how they work for you.

I was hoping others would respond to this question...as I have not run there. Ty T. ran the Electroshot in M3...so I would probably try Microcontacts in Silver....or Square Armor in silver.

micro contacts worked quite well when I was there. I would give carbines a go as well.

Question, new to Sweeps and am buying my intial stock. I was considering the Carbides, Micro Contacts, Squar Armors and Dirt Effects. I live in North Florida and most of the tracks I got to are prepared well, med to hard packed surfaces with dust on top at times or GA clay tracks that can get grooved and high traction. Your thoughts on the 4 tires and relative compound selection? Thanks!

All 4 tires listed are great tires depending on track conditions. I run in California on hard pack and loose pack depending on location of track. Temps are higher in the summer hear so I run red in the summer and blue in the winter. When the tracks are blue groove micro contacts are the bomb. You may want to try cell blocks on clay. I run these on indoor clay track in silver. Revolts and Defenders are also good and have similar driving characteristics to Square Armors. Very easy and predictable tire choice to drive when track isn't too loose or super dusty.
