I hope this is isn't a dumb question but I got my new Exagons in, are these things directional? I didn't see any arrows or anything but just wanted to ask. I'm new to this sport and never glued tires before.

Thanks
Stephen

Yes the are directional. But they can go either way. When u mount them make sure that when u put them on the car they all go the same direction. When u want to try the pattern the other way just swap the wheels from left to right.

Default sold out

Hi there, I went to order a set of each in red dot but found some are sold out?
Do you know how long it will be before they are all available again?
As I would like to get in one shipment (including the offer of free inserts) as I am in Australia.

Regards,
David.

If quicker can you email me at davidboxhead @ hotmail.com remove the spaces.

Default Race Report

Race Report 18-4-2010 @ Barranquitas RC Track, Barranquitas, Puerto Rico

Hi John

This past weekend i run the third round of The Mountain Series at Barranquitas RC Track, I started the day bad i woke up late and almost didn't make it to the track. The cars setups as the past weekend i didnt change anything at all. In mu Losi Buggy i used the Battle Star tires the same as last week for qualifying i my first round of qualifiers a had the pace for TQ but the steering screw when off (some loctite please) i did finshed in the 9th spot after the first round. in the second qualifiers a didnt change anything as in the first round in run great but the guys did some changes but still did a good run and qualifed 5th over all for the starting grid. In the main the guys were fast in the first few minutes a did my move but only stay in third place as the other guys were runnig great, at almost have of the race the leader flame out and i move to second place. I keep pushing i was few seconds behind the leader but his pit crew didnt work it out in the last 2 minutes he ran out of gas i made the pass to the top spot and securing my Win with 2 laps of the second place the A-Main was 30 minutes long. The track had great traction and the tires were great. The next couple off weeks i will be off, i would give some rest to the cars and do some maintance on them, maybe some practice during the end of April.

I ran the tires this weekend for the first time, Exagons. If everyone who was impressed with them orders some then you guys at Sweep will be sending lots of packages down to south Louisiana. I'm going to order another set in a different style and prob in the soft compound this time just so I have some options. Also I will prob go premounted bc gluing is not my strong point. I'm still missing hair on my leg(don't ask). But thanks guys, the tires rock.

Default Exagons direction

Hello guys,

This is Ryan Lee, general manager of the team in Korea.

We've been testing new EXP Exagon tires back to back, we found the tire only working well with one direction for most of tracks, check the picture below this is recommended direction for the tire.

thank you
Ryan Lee/ Sweep Racing HQ Korea
