Caden Hins doubles up with two wins at the Hay Days 2 day program. Allec Hins takes 2nd on Sunday to make it a 1-2 Sweep!. Caden ran Defenders and Allec ran whips. The track was old school and loamy. Defenders were great and provided a slight pushy feel which was perfect for the rough blown out track. Whips added steering and was slightly more aggressive and was preferred by Allec.

I agree with this:
Gold - M/X4
Yellow - M/X3
Silver - M/X2
Blue - M/X1

racing in colder temps here in Minnesota
Sweep Gold = M4 Proline
Sweep Yellow = M3 Proline
Sweep Silver = M2 Proline
Sweep YellowX = X3 Proline
Sweep SilverX = X2 Proline
Those are the Sweep compounds I like on the Whips, Micro Contacts, Carbides, Pixels, DefenderT's, and CarbideT's.

It isn't an exact matchup ofcourse...but Silver is certainly not = M3
I have access to a durometer...so I could get some numbers. Shore or Density is only one factor...the rubber make up also has a significant impact on wear and traction characteristics. This is also the basis for my comparison chart.

Yea. I need help with sweep compounds as well. I’m new to sweep tires. I race in the Chicago area. What’s the correct comparison in compounds between sweep, proline and Jc ?

IMO
Sweep Gold = M4 Proline
Sweep Yellow = M3 Proline
Sweep Silver = M2 Proline
Sweep YellowX = X3 Proline
Sweep SilverX = X2 Proline
That's my comparison for proline, I'm not sure about Jc but I believe it would go something like
Jcon Green = Sweep Yellow
Jcon Blue = Sweep Silver
Jcon Black = Sweep Gold
