Thumbs up Whips a really nice tire!

Tested: Part Number:316-4418
So I had a chance to run the whips on the Xray 2019 buggy today, they worked great, on a medium to low traction dirt with loam. Wasn't sure if the pin was too close together to hook up like that, but they did! They actually got better as I ran. It was about 50F OSA with some moister causing the loam to stick, but cleared immediately at first blip. The pattern is more predictable than it looks, if you run on loam you should try this tread. I ran Silver compound with pre-glued yellow wheel. Foam softened up nice, corner rotation was even better after a few tanks. Wear was negligible after .25 of a gallon?!! My evaluation so far is the tire has a very high performance to price ratio. Really nice tire, foam, wheel combo.

Will test the Defender tread next...

I strongly agree, I believe Sweep needs at least one if not two more tread patterns to fully complete their 1/8 truggy program. Cellblocks is a great idea but I would also recommande a small pin tire, a happy medium between the medium pin defender tire and the mini pin carbide-T. Something like a dirt effect or the old square armor tire but on the V2 truggy carcass.
