Default What OFNA Buggy is This??? Help

Hey guys. I pickd up this OFNA buggy off of craigslist hoping I can get back up and running. Looks in pretty good shape. Engine has plenty of compression. Just need to get a reciever and batt for it. My question though...can anyone help me figure out exactly which ofna it is??? I believe it is a hyper 7 but don't know which one. I need a manual and can't find it either. I need to replace the radio tray/box and figure out how to mount batteries and stuff. I am new to this so the manual is a must. Can anyone help me identify this exact model and help me find a manual?? Does anyone see something that might need rebuilding?

It is a ultra comp and the motor isnt that bad the one i had would run pretty good it just wasent blazing fast but it is a descent mill to get you started but i would upgrade the steering servo and get a reciever pack good luck to you the cars are tough.

its an ultra lx comp, not an mbx.... the mbx has a pbs suspension (pillow balls) like the revo and t maxx from traxxas or mugen/caster cars.

That's it. A friend brings his over every time it's hurting. He's run it four years all most every week end and it won't die.

Default ULTA

I had an ultra LX one that looked alot like that. was $299.99 brand new. absolutley beat the crap out of it for two years. can tell ya about one fragile item. the front upper camber link turnbuckle breaks se easy. have some spare on hand. I got suspension parts for an mbx(pillow ball) and made it hard to kill after that. the engine is not real strong but you can't kill it. mine sat on a shelf for 3-years and i finally gave it away. the engine started on the first pull.

Are the parts for the ultra mbx interchangable with this one? I do not see a ultra lx comp on the ofna website, just the ultra lx rtr which does not look like mine. Should I use the ultra mbx manual as my rebuild guide? Thanks

I got the front & rear susopension parts off ebay for $20.00 shipped. they were for an mbx & bolted right up. the rear arms were even pillow ball on the bottom so toe could be adjusted. there are so many different combinations of ofna buggies-makes it tough to figure out. as i remember i did not have to make any modifications to get those parts to fit.
