Yes it is a good fix. Since i changed botn my 2.0 over I have not had a problem. The first runs of 2.0 bellcranks were not molded right, the stock servo saver spring would not fit into the molded lip. They fixed the problem since then and now you can buy a new revised bellcrank that comes prebuilt minus the ackerman arm. Part # LOSA4406

I bought it about 5 months or so ago.
Maybe it has the fix, I don't know. I just was reading about this fix, and I notice on my buggy, even when the servo is disconnected that it's harder to turn by hand than my 1.0 truggy is. I can post a pic if I need to
