OS Speed or Nova Toro

I have a losi 2.0 truggy that I have been racing all year long. I have been running OS Speed engines with great success and I just wanted to know what the general consensus was among the racers. Please dont toss every engine known to man in the mix, just keep it to the OS Speed and Nova Toro. Thanks

Two diferent beasts, I for one like the Novas better, they seem to last longer for the money, but the speed is a very good motor. You can't go wrong with either.

i have seen people use the toro and they say they are very tricky to tune they say instead of an hour you go a quarter of an hour to tune. but the ones that run them will not run another engine. but IMO you can not go wrong with either. i would go with the OS speed out of the two just because the tuning is easier.

i tune my dads toro and its easy. he loves it, i drove it a couple times and its good if you have the space to use the power, if not a nova +4 would do just fine

Speed kills the toro. Bottom too soft on toro. Both engines great on top.

i have run both motors in a buggy and i think the speed is a lot better engine better bottom end smoother all the way through than the toro and also a lot better on fuel

the speed hands down

Both are great engines and have there place. My personal preference between the 2 goes to the Speed.

Good thread of comparisons on high end mills Frank. Surprised there hasnt been another already. Due to lack of bottom and milage the speed has to ditch the toro. With proper mod the toro should hold its own although i still feel the speed has the upper hand. All what im going by is from watching the 2 engines, not personal usage. Too rich a thread for me. Although interesting to say the least
