I have a roll I've been using for the last 4 years. lol No problems at all. |
To reinforce the body to prevent cracking? Fiberglass drywall tape with shoe goo. I usually reinforce around the body posts, and any "stress points."
I've never put a heat shield tape on, but thinking about it on the body I'm about to do. I have had a pipe distort the plastic before... polycarbonate bodies are formed by heating to about 360 degrees and pulling over a mold using vacuum. I'm thinking the heat shield tape is a good idea. |

B0, the losi tapes works really good on the sides of the body where the mud guards rub.

+1 on Losi nomex take.
The aluminium air conditioner tape has come off on me but its much cheaper. I use the Shoo-goo and fiber method now because it also holds my bodies together longer, i put it at all the places where bodies normally break and i'm good:tire:;);):tire: |
