Default Oil changes with regards to air temperature.

By how much (in general) do you increase oil weights by as the temperature rises?

Hey Peter, good info! Out here in Cali we get pretty good swings in temperatures btwn afternoon and evening, and vice-versa. Usually a 10 to 15 degree difference, personally I can definately feel a difference if I dont change my shock oils. To answer your question, I would change only 50cs or 2.5wt, depending on how extreme the weather change. (Example: 500cs during cooler and then 550 when warms up or 40wt to 42.5wt.)

Same goes for long Mains. anything over 20 minutes or so I would bump up the oils as well, depending on how important the race is
