so what would be the advantage of the aftermarket chassis over the stock one?

also... has anyone used the lower arm inserts by vp-pro? did they help with reducing the bending of the lower arms? i find this really annoying. new arms after only a month or so of use and they are warped!

Hi picko we been asked many times why we do what we do with the Chassis So I wanted to post this to explain some of the process of our Custom Chassis vs Oem stock Chassis

set up much longer Ie;tweak, bending etc. and usually we come in lighter
than most of the stock chassis.just due to our extensive lighting programs.
Hope this Helps..

The bending arms can be caused by how you store your car. Keep it off its wheels and disconnect the shocks. That will take the stress off the arms during storage.

That's my chassis he's working on. I am expecting the prototype any day for testing. Once its proven and we are sure all the parts bolt up good and performance is increased I am expecting to have a bunch ready for shipping. Timeline for shipping out to customers is not yet determined, unless Bill wants to start manufacturing before testing but I highly doubt that

Is your chassis going to be based off the evo, r4 or USA positioning?

I'm sorry but I find it very hard to believe the arms will bend just sitting there. If that is the case then that is an enditement on the company, that simply isn't good enough! In my case the buggy has not been stored on its wheels. It does not have wheels on during storage. It is during use that they bend. Surely I'm not the only one experiencing this? My current arms have only been on the car a couple of months and the front ones bend more than the rear.

I don't have a pic but I will try and get one up. So has anyone used those vp-pro spacers. Hong nor and hb have no gap where the pin goes through. It is all one piece. I really like that idea!

USA edition chassis was used as a guidleline for the layout.

arms bending equals a durable car that can lawn dart a jump and tumble down the straight without breaking an arm. Arms can bend in storage.
