Hyper 7 no contest. The LX has a very high ground clearance. It was made more for bashing. you cannot lower it to a competitive level to get the handling you need for racing

+1 Hyper 7

+1 and plus the LX seems to be cheaper made and breaks more but the hyper 7 will not break! i used to race a hyper 7 and its pretty good.

OFNA doesn't "make" anything. They import both. I believe the Hyper 7 is made by HoBao and the other Hong Nor... but I'm not positive.

And the Hyper 7 is far better. It is actually a decent car for an older design. (Since then there have been the Hyper 8, Hyper 8.5, and Hyper 9)

Note that "Hong Nor" doesn't mean bad, it isn't about the manufacturer. The latest "Hong Nor" offerings imported by OFNA are known as "Jammin." It is just that for those 2 older cars... the Hyper 7 is better.

The 7 is better but if you can get the hyper 7 without pillow ball,(c`hub) you will smile longer and wider than with the PBS.
