i only bought an rc car to race, i dont like bashing at all i think it's boring. I like the setup and tuning side of racing which you dont really get when bashing.

I spent 9 years bashing on and off road, including running them on tracks. Once someone finally talked me into racing, it took things to a whole new level. Now I dont bash at all..Nothing beats the thrill of racing and like others have said it brings a whole new element to the hobby

I've been a basher most of my RC life. since good old '94. There was a lot of broken parts in that time span but it was worth it. Got to know how things go together and learned how to tune a motor for the most part. But recently after getting out of school and starting a real world job and having time and money I've decided to give racing a real shot. And I'm lovin' it. It's now very hard to put my car down in a street and run it up and down. But as long as my remote is in my hands and nitro is burning, I'm having fun. Bashing - good place to start
Racing - Great place to get to!!

You can only jump the same hill or make high speed passes so many times and then it loses its fun. I really like the competition of racing and making changes to your car and seeing results on the track.

Racing only! When I first got into it, I used to bash every now and then. Once I started racing I was hooked. It's not any fun to bash anymore after racing. My vehicles will only ever see a race track now. Racing is just way more fun than bashing. Even if you don't do well, it's still fun to be at the track and hang with your racing buddies.
