but i do have to say a modded reedy will absolutely fly. and they run alot cooler after you mod them but i just dont want to buy it and then have to mod it just to be close to the power and performance of the JPX

the only other engine i would want besides the JPX is the GRP 21. i loved that engine it was my favorite engine but they are no longer so i found something almost as good. i would still be running GRP if it wasnt for their factory burning down.

i would hate to see a modded JPX. i think that would just be to much. there is no need to pay to get it modded it way to fast stock. but i would like to get one done just to see the difference.

The reedy has me nervous, I just don't know. Anyone have an old JPX crankcase? I damaged the crankcase trying to put bearings in it

There is no reason to be nervous of the Reedy. If you have a problem they take care of it. They even admit there was a issue with the black putty. They now use a red putty. Problem solved. Not like others and deny it even though they know there is a issue. Every engine company has issues at times. It's how they handle them that matters.

I have no doubt the JPX is a great engine. I've seen them run. The guys that ran them have moved on to Reedy, OS, Nova Rossi .... It's great so many guys love this engine.

I have a new Reedy that may have the issue. I will just send it in if it does. No biggie. I'm a couple thousand miles from home for another 6 months.

I have a Clockowork modded Picco P7R and it's by far the best engine I've owned. I have a video on Vimeo where I ran an 11+ minute tank, and I drove the piss out of it ( much harder than during race conditions ) Just search for RC8T and excuse my driving..lol.
. Eight minutes is easy to achieve when it's Clocked. It also tuned like a dream.
