Larger piston has little effect on torque. What you're after is a longer stroke.

If torque and low RPM (extended periods at idle and just off idle) are your goals, a 4 stroke would be your best bet.

for torque try and get a hold of the Thunder Tiger .70 or .90 engines they used in the old EK4 truck...they're huge but should do well in nitro crawling...as far as hp/tq specs I don't have those you'd have to search for em

depends on what your using it for but IMO all the traxxas engines are crap they dont last very long the only rtr engines that are worth it are from losi, they have the 3.4 which is a great engine and insane in a 1/10th scale, if you have something with the trx3.3 in it swap in the os .21max or picco redline

Novarossi .46 must be up there.
Based on a car engine configuration, big brother to the Novarossi Flash.

Would make the ultimate base for a drag engine I would think.

There are plenty big marine engines on the market.....not so suitable for cars.

LRP 30 or 32. Either on of these are very powerful. No nitro 2 stroke is suitable for rock crawling just on how the clutch works. At low speed crawling the clutch would have to be always slipping and would wipe out very quickly.
