You can dye your own or panther had purple smaller dia wheels(along with many other colors) & am sure his newer larger size wheels will come in many colors.

I have seen purple wings also but cant remember from who, possably kyosho or ofna. Go on amain or carolinas or nitrohouse & type in wing in search box .

I wish companies offered more color choices. The mostly yellow or white is played......

I have dyed stuff myself and its actually really easy. just buy white wing and wheels and boil them in purple rit dye. ( its a clothing dye that wal-mart sells. The longer you boil them the darker they get and the deeper the color penetrates. I have turned white stuff Orange, Blue, and Green. It takes about 30 minutes

How is the durablity of the dye? After a race day or two, are there white scratches or marks?

that is one of the reasons i want the dark colors. Brand new white or yellow wings/wheels get's scratched and turns dirty real fast. Cant tell as much with darker colors.

Plus i suppose you could just die it again to make the scratches less noticable. But that would go for any color i guess.

the longer you boil it, the deeper the dye gets into the item. You have to scratch it deep to see white, but if you leave it in too long it will be such a deep purple that it will probably look black. Tip: Dye all items together are they will be different colors..Buy a cheep large pot because you wont be able to cook in it when you are done

I used to run a purple wing on my buggy... dye works great! BTW you might want to think this through first... it will really hurt the visibility of your car!

I have to admit a yellow car with purple wing and wheels would look pretty sharp though.

+1

I beat the &^*% out of them and never showed white. Note that if you are going to dye them, start with WHITE wing and wheels. Other colors will give you some... ummm... odd results.

BUT... again, for visibility, I'd run yellow and just put some purple graphics on the car.

Especially if you're a Vikings fan....I'd personally go for Blue and white. Go COWBOYS!!!

My old buggy... purple and yellow, with a dash of hot pink. I had a purple wing on it, but it really cut down the visibility.
