I also like this buggy!!! I am just wondering what the price tag is going to be compared to the Serpent buggy I would have to say I might lean more towards the Serpent because of the name and experience.I do like all the bling on the Durango.

Now that I'm looking at it I have to wonder, where will the air filter go? There doesn't appear to be enough room for the rubber boot, or even a flat-oval filter.

Whatever Durango's solution ends up being, I guess we'll see it in a few days when footage and pics from Nuremberg start to trickle in.

My first guess on the air filter is that the body will be different when they unveil
or
The airfilter on the outside of the body. I hope not.

The body guys did. You'll notice that there is no fuel tank in any of the photos. Odds are, the body guys worked ahead of the chassis guys (not to mention that the body is almost an exact copy of their 1/10th body). I'm betting this car releases with a different body then what's shown in the pics.

Is it possible that they intentionally left certain parts out of the pics so as to not give away any of the more innovative points until the last possible moment?
Also, seeing as how the car was designed on a 3d modeling program, they have the luxury on working from the inside out to make sure that the body clears all of the internals, and a "buck" for the bodyshell can be corrected and produced in less than 48 hours.
Think about it, this is just a toy car, not a Boeing 787 with a zillion parts requiring 100 different designers on CAD stations spread out over miles of hangar space. Given the craftsmanship and intelligent design that went into all of their previous cars, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on the air filter/gas tank.
