Retail has been announced and distributors / shops can take pre-orders so call your nearest shop and in case you are in US and w/o further notice I'd mail Durango directly. Expected release is in early April.

Casecac lives in Norway.

We have got a heads up and can preorder now. Release is not 100% set. Pre order is only so you are shure to get cars from first batch..

If you live in USA i agree with Poinas2, send an e-mail direct to Durango!!

Its a work of art!!!

It appears a little fragile, but that is just a perception.

For the time being, your guess is as good as mine on that one. Somehow, I don't think it'll be as bad as, say, on the D8 though.

Aluminum is pretty light. If designed properly, you would be surprised just how light an aluminum part can get compared to plastic.

For instance, many of the new onroad cars are coming with a bunch of parts that would normally be plastic, in aluminum. Just look at all the aluminum on Shepherd and Capricorn cars, yet they come in well under the weight limit.

Very true. Heck, I was even surprised with how light the shock towers are on the MP9; holding it my hand, I could swear it felt almost as light as carbon fiber.

Same thing for the mugen aluminum shocktower. I put it in my hand and the carbon fiber in the other and you can try as hard as you can to feel a difference but you cant'.

Personally, i think they are just about even.
