Throttle return spring?????
Do throttle return springs work just as well as fail safes? Or should I buy a fail safe just to be safe? Can someone post a pic of their throttle return spring and what they used for it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

if you dont have a fail safe get one.
If you have a fail safe, use rubber bands or springs (i prefer bands), because a failsafe only protects you with loss of transmitter power or range.
If you don't use bands, you can still get a runaway with a dead reciever or a servo glitch (water)
USe both.

i use both rubber bands and the spring. you need the ruber band bc is the linkage pops off some how it will return to idle easily.

ninja motor in a mbx6. I went to the dollar store and bought a bag of pretty small (bout the size of a quater) and pretty thin. I put 2 sometimes 3 on there depending on how much force i want.
Just put it on there, if it doesn't pull the throtle and servo back with ease add another one. Keep doing it till it pulls it shut with no problem.
A bag of a couple of hundred cost 1$ but could save you hundreds in repairs.
