I usually will bump from B to A and Somewhere between the last lap of the A-main my rear wheels will come off , but I have to be leading the race, works every time!

Hey now, be nice....he was just joking around with you. Everyone has to start somewhere, so don't feel like you're being made fun of. I'm sure he's really laughing with you, not at you.
Now back on topic, if you cannot get the locknut off of your hub, you likely stripped the hex that engages the wheel. If it wasn't seated in the wheel when it was tightened, that could easily have happened. Like the other folks said, take a small flat head screwdriver and stick in the u-joint of your drive shaft. All you're trying to do it hold the shaft from spinning while you unscrew the lock nut.
If the inside of your wheel is in good shape, you may need either a new hex, or the drive pin that spins it. By the way, if you have to get new hexes, pay the extra few bucks and get the aluminum ones....they'll last much longer.
