About flat battery packs and mounting them
Hi. I have the Losi LST (see attachment pictures for truck pictures).
The LST uses 4 AA batteries to power it's onboard electronics. I want to upgrade it from using 4 AA batteris to use a 6v flat battery pack. Can I use any 6v flat battery pack which has the right connector or should I buy one from Losi ( http://losi.com/Products/Features.aspx?ProdId=LOSB9950 ) just to be safe?
Now. What I also want to do is to mount that new 6v flat battery pack under my truck. I came upon this battery mount set which is for the LST ( http://www.losipartshouse.com/servle...et-cln-/Detail ). Does anybody know if this battery mount set is for a flat v6 battery pack? Do you know if you use this set to mount the battery pack under the truck?
Thanks for advance!

it doesnt matter what type of flat pack you use. as long as it uses that red JST connector.
for example the one here from amain will work: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ck-60V-1500mAh
i dont have an LST but the battery mount you linked is for a flat pack. i dont know if it mounts on top ot bottom, but it looks like it would work fine
edit: actually, it looks like you already have the battery holder. on your third picture, its to the bottom right of the alkaline battery hole.

I have the LST and that is the battery you want and the mount you want. It works perfect. buy the mount from losi but the battery as long as it looks like the one in the pick it doesnt matter wich brand.

Ohh nice, I didn't notice that I already had the mounting set
But one extra thing! The Losi one ( http://losi.com/Products/Features.aspx?ProdId=LOSB9950 ) has 1100mAh but the Muchmore Racing one has 1500mAh. What's the difference?
Edit: I was also thinking of buying rechargeable AA batteries for my radio. It now uses 8xAA alkaline batteries (1.5 volt each, total 12 volts). Most rechargeable AA batteris are only 1.2 volt each (8 of them would only give 9.6 volts), is that going to be a problem? I did find these rechargeable ones that are supposed to have 1.5 volts, should I maybe buy them? http://www.juicebatteries.com/(S(eph...line+Batteries

If I buy the battery pack ( http://losi.com/Products/Features.aspx?ProdId=LOSB9950 ), I will need to buy a charger for it, right? Where can I get a charger?
