Could some tell me if the standard v spec case will work in place of a speed case thanks

Yes...you just cannot mix cranks and rods.

so your saying you cant put on a speed Rod on a Standard Blue head V-spec ?

one lubes the crank pin through the rod...the other through the crank. Speed crank...speed rod. Same with the standard VSpec...use the same crank and rod.
