Default ofna hyper 8.5 rtr

i was just wondering if this is a good buggy first buggy for the price. its only $369.00. money is very tight right now and this fits right into my budget. i currently have an sc8 so this wont be my first nitro, im just curious if this buggy is race worthy and would be able to compete against ae, losi, ect.
Thanks

It's a very durable car and turns like crazy, we still offer option parts for the car and can keep it's pace of course the car tech it just a tad off from current cars like the Hyper 9 but still is a good club racer.

Sure, a good first racer. You need to upgrade the servo's ASP And don't over heat the motor or the front seal/bearing is gone and you'll never get it tuned. Put some AKA's on and it will turn like crazy. As soon as you can clean out the diffs and put oil in. Check the OFNA forum boards for set-up info and run it. Need more info? PM me.

Just remember, you can run the .28 at club races but you need a .21 at the big ones. The new Force JL.21 bolts right up and it's a good price and a screamer. Just start a car wash and you'll have it in no time.
