Default Racing a lightning stadium 2?

i have a hot bodies stadium 2 and im starting to run at my local track. I am going to start racing when i get the time off work but was just wondering if anyone ever raced these? i know the d8 is their new truggy and has been for awhile along with all the other new truggys.
I was just wondering if im missing out on a lot by not having a new truggy. I'm just learning to race so i figured i would be learning more about driving then anything.

I will be upgrading to a new truggy or buggy soon. just want to get my driving up to par first.

here is a pic of it. it doesnt seem to terribly out dated but im not sure.

i would say you will be ok to learn how to race but the truck is a little out dated the HB D8t truggy is really good its a little lighter and the geometry is different but the truggy you have now was a very good truck when they come out as well so have fun and learn as you go then i would get something newer.
