Default Losi 454 Temp gauge..

Has anyone figured out where the proper placement for the sensor?? I have tried a number of different places, and it's still 25 to 35 degrees off from my handheld gauge... It always shows that it's hotter than it really is...

i put the little red strap on the opposite side of the exhaust and has been very accurate if u put it on the same side of the exhaust it will give you false reading i have seen temp guages that are way off try to compare with a good quality temp gauge and make sure it is snug around head push little rubber grommet into fins on head
