to me it looks like there was an offroad track, so gravel, some pipe around the race lanes, some grass on the outside, definitely saw some people and some cars, and about 10+ 1/8 scale offroad buggies. might have been some other things i missed as well

Track looks a little small for 1/8th scale. The guy the camera was following almost never hit a transition ramp.

This is a track near me. I am wanting to know what other cars people are using. I was hoping someone would be able to spot some more of the obvious ones.

mugen and losi and maybe an xray or two and there might have been a kyosho..
didnt see any distinctive hot bodies...

but any of the cars on the market today are very competitive.

the
kyosho mp9
losi 2.0
hot bodies D8
mugen mbx6
xray809/808
odonnell zo1b
sh z car
caster racing is gaining popularity as well and are very competitive back east.

Currently trying to figure out what car I want. Basically down to the LOSI 8IGHT RTR and the RC8 RTR.

I am really leaning towards the RC8 as most of the reviews I have read are about it being a little more rugged and slightly easier to drive.

Some people say that the engine sucks in the RC8 but some say it is okay.

I have heard some really good things about the 8IGHT as well. I do really like the telemetry stuff.

It seems to be a Ford vs. Chevy debate. It will probably come down to a flip of a coin haha.
