Default Who's had an engine crankcase crack?

I'm curiuos to hear how many of you have had an engine's crankcase crack, what kind of engine it was and what car it was in. Although I think I know which brand has the most failures, based on what I've heard up until this point, I'm trying to get information from other racers to see if I'm correct.
Thanks for your input

Ive cracked a case in a Hyper 8, Hyper 9 and a Tamiya. I have also had a Losi truggy and buggy, Jammin X-2 CRT and a MBX6 that I did not crack a case in. Cases cracked were a V-Spec, a Ninja JX and a Novarossi. Seems pretty random to me, not due to car designs anyway. Unfortunately, cases crack sometimes.

Cracked a nova 3 port in my mbx6, looked like the carb took a hit at the same time. The high speed needle was tweeked, maybe took a hit and broke the mounting tab on the case. Also using the stock 2 piece mount.

that was my nova plus-4 case that cracked. its because the motor kept coming loose at the S.I.C race and it cracked near the motor mount hole.

I had the big end journal break of my AxeRossi, this put the conrod through the bottom of the crank case.

I cracked a "old" vspec on the very bottom...they are netorious from the rod hitting the bottom of the case (worn crank pin/rod bushing) on the older style cases...

My GO tech 7 port. Was running on the track in practice by myself when I thought I flammed out. Brought it back to the box, and snap! Right in half.

Up until then it ran awesome. Not quite sure why it happened... Totally awesome none the less!
