Default NOOB question........

Im just getting into 1/8 buggies, I just got a used hyper7 pbs yesterday. I have a FM radio that I use with my Adam drake2 I was wondering if I could take the crystals out of that car and put it into my hyper so I could use the fm radio with my hyper?

Thanks for the help guys!

if they are both fm... and the mhz (there is 27 and 72mhz bands)

then it will work just make sure the radio your taking them out of is the same mhz band as the one you are putting them into.

one way to find out try it

there are negative shift and positive shift for fm tx/rx also single conversion , high response and dual conversion tx/rx as well as crystals

So should I switch the entire receiver rather than just the crystals?

Switch both so that way it's the same set up. Then you don't have to worry if something goes wrong.
