Hey guys, just bought this thing, and of course the weather is cold as a gold digger's a**. Can I still run this thing? I have already broke it in, now I just want to play. Do I need to keep the head wraped in alluminum foil, or is there any other trick, or is it just to cold? It's sunny and 40 to 50 degrees here today?

in the cold winter i tune my engines on the rich side and use hot plugs.

Ive been running my car in the snow and its like 20 degrees outside. The only thing to worry about is that plastic gets brittle when its cold, you can break things a lot easier.

Too cold. There is really no such thing. most 1/8th scale are built quite tough.

But what the cold does. It hardens the plastic and doesn't flex as much, just snaps easier.
As far as the motor, 50 degrees is ok, but if its really cold, you run the chance of shocking the engine metals and making the expand and contract to fast which will stretch them out past their normal tolerences and shorting the motor life.
