I'm sure you just club race so you don't know the real costs of racing. Sometimes a gallon only lasts one two day event, so you have to stock up on cases of fuel. At $100-120 a case, fuel is not cheap. Then stocking up on parts that wear normally ain't cheap either.

i do club racing i assome thats what most racers do ,u can get a case of byrons fuel for $89and it says the hazmat charge and shipping is included.
at amainhobbies i havnt had to replace to much on my eight 1.0b really .
just bearings pretty much its 20% and 25% by the way

Show me where at A-Main you can get 30% fuel for $80.

So you never replace clutch shoes, or do regular maintenance on your car?

oh yea i do cleaning and replace the clutch shoes and change my diff oil.
stuff like that ,$100 for the case well if u only race one class of 1/8 i dont,
see how it woulnt last kind of long.

Racing two classes really eats up a lot of fuel. Between my brother and me, a gallon lasts about 1 two day event including practice. Racing 4 classes is even harder on fuel.

1/8 buggy i did race every weekend but my local track closed.
if your only doing one class of 1/8 it should last a bit long if u buy a case.
