Looking for some tuned pipe feedback.

Looking for some tuned pipe feedback.
Guys, the following is a list of some of the .21 size tuned pipes available from various manufacturers around the world. The description is based totally on what the manufacturers have stated, not through personal experience, so is intended as a guide only.
Please note, the list is not comprehensive and will be added to as I gain experience and knowledge.
Any ffedback that you more experienced guys can give would certainly be greatly appreciated.

I would say it depends on the engine. The grp .21 engines really like the 053 pipes the grp 2053 makes less power but a little better mileage and the dyn 053 opens the power up and cuts off a little runtime. The same dyn 053 pipe on an os speed engien did not perform at all it was ok but compared to the os 2060 te 053 chopped off the top end and was a little soft on the bottom. On the os speed engines the os 2060 or mugen 2042 (same pipe) works very very well. Well worth the $$ they get for it. I didn't like the 086 on either engine or a grp .28. The trinity bad boy pipe has a total of 2-3 laps on it and back in the box it went. It cut the top end off worse than the 053 but I know some guys who run them and like them. That's just my experience. So once again I think it depends on the engine. Any 053 pipe seems to be a safe bet for descent performance. That's what's in my pit box.

Yes there is. In the case of the Sirio pipes, the 2013 on-road and off-road pipes are completely different. The on-road pipe is considerably shorter and has less volume. It's made for an engine that runs at much higher RPM and that has more advanced timing in all respects. I can't speak for other brands, but there's definitely a difference with the Sirio, Werks and Trinity pipes.

Wouldn't they have changed the number since the pipe is different?

I'm not familiar with the EFRA approval numbers and how they apply, but apparently they're comfortable with using the same approval number on completely different pipes. Perhaps they were submitted at the same time and therefore have the same number? Only a guess, but they're definitely different pipes.
