http://www.hobbycity.com

Any 4s pack, minimum capacity 2200, the higher the 'c' rating, the better.

If Tower carries it, it should be reputable enough...

Thanks for the tip!

I hear ya...I'm using Thunder Power 40c's in my T4, but for a starter box, I don't think a hard-case high-quality battery is a must. Thanks!

I am using the Losi 4s 2200mah 20c starter box battery>> http://carolinasrc.com/Webstore/Scri...idproduct=7762. It will start both my buggy and truggy at least one full race day and prob 2 without difficulty. The lipo upgrade is the best thing you can do to any starter box.

If your spending 30-40$ you might as well treat yourself and go BIG OR GO HOME.

not sure if this is true or not but i heard that there r only a hand full of companies that make lipo batteries and that other companies just put there wrap on them. if thats the case the ebay batteries and other brand batteries r in fact the same ones with a diff wrap. but liike i said i'm not sure if this is 100% true. if anyone knows the truth please enlighten us.

Hells Yea!!! Now your talkin! Tuck two of those 5000's in
the box and strap two more on the outside, That way I
can use it to jumpstart the truck I drive to the track if
I need to. I think we should get together a starterbox
competion. Break out the dyno, who's box has the most
torque and rpm's? I think a couple of mine could turn over
a smallblock CHEBBEE engine. LMAO!!!.........
