Plastic or Metal Carb Best?
 

I know plastics have come a long way, but I still seem to have a suspicion that plastic means cheap. I know that in some cases this is true, others not, but in general which is best for nitro engines? I've been away from the sport for about 8 years, and in shopping for mills, I do see what appear to be plactic carbs on high end units like $500. Novas. The only info I've found mentions heat transfer and fuel temps being an advantage for plastic, but are there other reasons to stay away from the plastic units? The 2 mills at the top of my list are the new Reedy .21 and the Werks B5 (plactic carb). The Werks comes in $50. cheaper, and I hear good things about both mills, but isn't plactic a cost cutting measure?

the novarossi .21bf i own has a alum club i belive the thing that sucks is that
when the engine gets hot its hard to get started again cause i think it gets vapor locked,i know i heard somebody say that plastic carbs are better for that reason i know rb have them
