My closest track is aleast 1:20 mins away but the usual it is at least 2 1/2 to 4 hours one way. We do that in one day.

Just kidding, I'm just jealous because you've got 7 tracks near you. Don't forget about Competition Hobbies in Tucson. They've got that nice indoor electric track....
Oh, by the way, I'm 7 miles from my local track (same one MotoGod goes to)

The tracks I race at are both around an hour and ten minutes away(a little more if I do the speed limit). This is my first full year of racing and I think would drive two hours to a one day race if it was a good time, but I think that would be my max. I was thinking of maybe racing a couple of bigger events over the winter and for those I'll drive alittle longer just because I only have to do the drive once that day.

Well guy your gonna hate me but I have to travel, say 250-300 feet and I'm there at one of Minnesota's many great tracks. www.ftrcr.com check it out.
what I spend in time and money on this track I could drive a long way and still save money.
