Default FIORONI CLUTCH SYSTEMS!!!!!!!

I am using an HPI F4.6 engine and i really want to buy a really good clutch system. i was told to use the UE 4 shoe one but not any instock. UE clutch looks like the ofna 4 clutch shoe which i am considering. I had second thoughts since a friend recommended FIORONI or MIP.

Fioroni clutches:

MIP clutches:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/advance...ds=mip+clutches

ofna 4 shoe clutch system:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...?&I=LXNXJ5&P=SM

So which one do you think is the best i can use?

Will the fioroni clutch fit directly on my engine?

M2C clutches are awesome replacment parts are easly located between vendors and M2C. I have a Fioroni Vario but replacement shoes can be expensive.

Give Mitch a call at M2C

The Fioroni clutches will fit the motor, but more importantly what car is the motor going into? If it is a truck, I would recommend one of the Vario 3 shoe clutches.

Save some money and get the same clutch Ryan Lutz is running. Ascendancy RC. There is a reason it is the #1 selling clutch at the moment. If you would like detailed pics go to www.ascendancyrc.com

you can find it at Amain, Stormer, TKO, GS hobby and the Ascendancy Site. Great life on the shoes and will save you a few dollors.

Red face Ascendancy VS. Fioroni Clutces

I just had a look on ascendancy clutces and they really look much like fioroni clutches, considering that fioroni have a variety of clutch systems which one do you think would be best for a supermaxx?

Neither....M2C would be the better option.

Kelles go with the Vario 3 shoe with 2 aluminum and one carbon shoe. Some people have nothing better to do than constantly bash Fioroni products on every forum they can find. Do some research and you will see what I am talking about.
In the end it's your decision and whatever you choose it will hopefully work out just fine. The Vario gives you the adjustment option with the rotating cam. My guess is the number 2 or 3 setting will work best for you. If later on you need all out tire spinning punch, get the optional cam with the 3, 4, and 5settings. The higher the number the more punch.

Garen,

No Bashing here!! Fioroni makes AWSOME products. You can not go wong with a Fioroni or the Ascendancy. Just remeber with a 3 shoe if you change one shoe or 1 spring that shoe may hit before or after the other two. What this does is cause pressure on oneside of the clutch bell more than the other.

This will lead to premature bearing failure.
