the programmer is not needed if your radio has EPA's..the feature's like Overload protection and Servo resolution are negligible as the setting's are already at what they should be....it's a fancy peice of electronics but its pretty useless with the newer age Digital radio's that have Everything you could ask for.

I can tell you why my hitecs quit workin. Used em as throttle servos on an 8ight.

i used my for my steering on my eight but i was gone to use it for my throttle and use a faster one for my steering,but like i said the cheaper hitecs analog and dingal dont center at all i wish they fix that problem in their cheaper models when new i like the fact though sofar the hitec i did have never burned up just not center
