But it's like the whole Snap On vs. MAC vs. Matco vs. Craftsman debate.
Guys just like to zip down the proverbial tool box fly and whip out their "Snap On" and say "Look at my way over priced tools that do the same job as something less expensive."
To edit; This is also why these same guys have a bumper sticker on their tool box that says "Don't even ask to borrow my Snap On's" This is because they will have to wait until next paycheck to replace it if it doesn't come back.....[/QUOTE]
All i can say is you must not make a living with Tools i have been a ASE Mechanic for the last 13 years and work with Mac Snap On and Matco tools ever day and have used some cheap tools and the High dollar tools work better last longer and make the Job much Fast and the Faster i work the more money i make.

Its a cost thing to me along with quality.
What does a whole set run usually?
From 3.0 hex to 1.5, flatheads, to phillips, flywheel wrench, 17mm wheel wench, glow ignitor, piston locking tool, etc....all adds up real fast.
I just bought a complete set from Redcat RC and they seem good so far. I know I dont need to find certain tools as this has 95% of what I need.
3.0-1.5 Hex Drivers
Two sizes of Phillips
One flathead
Piston Locking tools
Reamer
Flywheel Pullers
Plyers(tossed those since I already have a good set)
Spring Puller
Flywheel/17mm Wheel Hex Tool
Glo Ignitor
4.0, 5.5, 7.0, 8.0 nut drivers

I like the Hudy Profi tools. Hudy quality and they are modestly priced.

I am at the 5 year mark on my Losi tools. My lhs had them as I was looking to replace a few broken associated ones.
Have had zero problems with them. Great fit with a good feel. SOme say they are to short but I havent had a problem with anything but some engine mount screws with larger .28 heads in the way. I just use a standard allan to get proper tork.

I do love my Losi Tuning Screwdriver.....
Anyone have anymore info on that RedCat kit? Found em on eBay for short money....but if it's nice looking crap I have no interest in it.
They do *look* nice though....are they new? Has anyone actually owned them for awhile that can report on how they hold up?

EDS are the best I've used. They are made of spring steel. The customer service is awsome. Ed will custom engrave your tools when you buy them....Good tools from a good man.

Thanks for all the input guys! I actually had some motor and servo issues this weekend, and a fellow racer that had a set of EDS Tools came over to let me borrow them for my repairs. After using them....I was sold.
I ordered a set of EDS Tools last night! 11 Tools in all for $105 shipped.....Metric and SAE sets...with a few ball drivers and the exhaust spring puller.
I'll add on more as I need them. I really do appreciate all the input!

Mip
I've used about all brands until I saw a post from Arnie fie that Mip is the best and bought my first one. You know what he was right they are by far the best most durable you can get. They don't have replacable tips because they don't wear out. I did break one prying on something but put it in another handle and still using it.
