You will need a way to start the engine..I dont think you can use a bumpstart engine in a MGT

Maximo is correct. I don't know if anything exists, maybe look at Tiger Drive? and see if they have a back plate that would work for it, so you can use a roto start or drill.

we custom fit a v spec into a t maxx and made a custom header that routed the the exsoust out the back of the truck with a tuned pipe (something like a revo)
and made a custom chassis and used one of those airplane type starters with a rubber wheel and we were able to get at it from the pipe side were we cut the chassis to allow it.

As far as I'm aware, there is no rotostart, backplate, or pullstart that will work with the V-Spec, they are bump-only engines. Or more to the point, you could get a backplate that would fit but the crankshaft/conrod in stock V-Specs has no pin-hole or slot to put in an alternative start option without changing out the crankshaft to something else.

its an mgt the thing is going to break as soon as you get to the track let alone put more power to it.

You will need better shocks if you plan to race. I would suggest either proline power strokes or UE (Unlimited engineering) super shocks. Unfortunatly they are both discontinued but turn up once in a while on ebay.
