What about started box and all the little stuff that goes with it...............for $900 ummmm IDK

I would say:

Team Losi 8 2.0 - RTR - everything you need to be competiitive. under $900 and you can buy an extra servo. Add fuel and go.

Unkown, if he has all the support equipment or not??

The Losi RTR is still going to need Lipos for the box and car, servos, and a fix for the radio plate.

Right?

Well if he gets that he will have enough money for:
Glow Igniter
Nitro Fuel
Fuel Bottle
(2) 7.2V Batteries for the Starter Box
Approved Charger(s) for receiver pack and starter box batteries

And what radio tray fix? Never had a problem with the 2.0 tray.......as long as you set your EPS correctly the tray is almost bulletproof

constantinos 10-05-2009 10:32 AM

well i got all the stuff i need fuel ,starter box etc from my other cars so i just need a really fast buggy with all the modifications you recommend for the best performance on the track

You are going to get alot of different answers here! I prefer AE RC8B,And as for power plant go with reedy or Nova .21+4(.28 in a buggy?) Servos go with ds8711hv Steering and ds8411 throttle.(Both are JR.) IMO

HB with ninja jx .21 and hitec servos 7955 or 7950HV

Make sure Starter box could trun over a new .21 engine

constantinos 10-05-2009 11:12 AM

so better to get a RC8B rather than a Hot bodies d8 and do the engine, servos and other modifications?

token 10-05-2009 11:18 AM

IMO better to go with a HB or Losi

but if you like the RC8 then

Zerodefect 10-05-2009 11:20 AM

What are your other cars? Do you allready race?

DPowers 10-05-2009 11:22 AM

there is nothing wrong with the HB the car is fast and my second choice would be the losi rtr it comes with a good radio and a descent mill just replace the servos but im not much of a rc8 fan and yes i owned one but there would be my two to look at.
