ok, so they come with the non grooved foams. Does the tire carcass come with internal ribbing?

As soon as they send samples to test and we verify they are good.

They have the cross pattern ribs like the Condors, Bull Dogs, and Blades.

Yes the grips are sweet. Just wondering if anyone is trimming the truly foam before mounting or just leaving stock? Thanks

are there any advantages to running the grooved foams? If so, I have to buy everything separate.:(

You don't want to run grooved foams with tires that have a cross pattern inside. Grooved foams are for tires with a ribbed pattern in them.

grooved foams makes the tire flatter and feel softer. Might be better for loose tracks or bumpy tracks. I use the stock foams most of the time. Never have tried to trim closed cell inserts before.

Have been running the Arrow engine all year with no problems, very good fuel mileage. Engine is also easy to tune even in high humidity.

ark champ 05-19-2011 05:10 PM

Sorry Gene, i meant is anyone trimming the truggy foams? Or just leaving them full? thanks for the help, and yes, the gripz have outstanding traction. Do you think they will work at the AMS race?? What should we bring?

VPProUSA 05-19-2011 06:23 PM

I leave them full. They form to the tire shape after a tank or so because they are soft.
