Thanks stu! I'm running hard crime fighters that I softened up and really like them. I went to ultra flexx because I want more traction on the harder sections of track.

smc,
just beware that like the condors the strikers might wear faster on an abrasive track. I love the condors but have worn a set in 7-10 mins on a couple very hard and abrasive tracks. Strikers not as bad but fyi. If so you may want to try axeman or cutoffs.

Thanks again stu! I will give these strikers a shot and hopefully buy some other vp treads. Nobody Around here is running any VP products so we will see If I can convert them! I also ordered a set of ss city blocks to give a try. Everyone around here seems to like them.

smc,

my last regionals city blocks were the tire of choice, I ran my strikers and cutoffs and was still on pace in the "A". if the condors had of been out then I would have ran those for sure. So if you like the ss city blocks the condors or the new treads coming out will be right up your alley. the blades look real close to the city blocks.

They work great. Mounted on wide V3 size wheels, they are only RC Pro Series legal and will only fit the rear on most buggies. But mounted on the new V2.0 or Proline/AKA/Losi wheels, they fit front and rear and are ROAR legal.

I'm using the wider wheels on the front and rear of my Ve8 and they are awesome. However, I had to install offset steering links to get full throw: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...et-Type-ST-R-8

If you get these links then make sure you have 6.8 mm balls.
