I have tried striker/cutoff and cutoff/axman and the cutoff/axman was most similar to bowfighters.

Some of you may know that VP pro is a sponsor of Team Terribles. About a month ago I sent email to all the team sponsors and asked for a small prize package to include with our team prize package for the Upcoming Washington State off road championships sponsored by Team Terribles.
VP-Pro and Caster USA were the only two team sponsors who were able to contribute to our event and Both VP pro and Caster went above and beyond what we asked for. Instead of a small $50-$100 donation that I asked for, VP pro was generous enough to cram a box full of over $500 worth of prizes. In todays economy when everyone is struggling to keep the doors open it was very touching to see that they cared so much about the racers and their customers that they were willing to do this. On behalf of all 658 members of Team Terribles and everyone who be racing in the Washington state off road finals please accept our deepest thank you to everyone at VP PRO USA.

I just placed an order late last week, they had an end of summer sale going and the prices are incredible. I was able to buy 2 sets of wheels, one for my buggy and one for my truggy and a wing for just over $100 shipped. One set of wheels at a hobby shop cost $80 for truggy and $60 for buggy and a wing is about $15. So i saved about $50 going with vp-pro over my usual brand (aka). I can't wait for my package to arrive this week. If they are as good as everyone says i'll be placing another order this week for another set of wheel in different tread patterns. 2 sets of wheels for a few bucks more than 1 set is remarkable.

first thing you'll notice over AKA on truggy is that they are much lighter. The reduced unsprung weight makes a huge difference. It only gets better from there!

Sweet, i can't wait. They should be here tomorrow. I would have bought 2 sets but i wasn't sure about the mass of them. I had tried a set of prolines that were alot heavier than my aka's and my truck was just too slow in the corners and wouldn't jump nearly as well. With my aka's i've always been able to throttle them in the air and watch the truck lift itself up about an inch, but with the prolines the nose was constantly diving. The tread was nice on them and they hook nice on loose stuff, but the overall weight and mass just made it feel like i was driving in mud the whole time, so i went back to my aka's for the time being. Can't wait to check out the vp-pro's. Hopefully they come with some decals

I was able to get my paws on a set of Axman tires and I was really suprised at how well the tires worked on a combination of tracks.
The tires had great bite and showed little to no wear.
