Shocks blown. Suggest some new ones.

I have a stock T-maxx 2.5 that I've finally tuned and got running.
Seems 4 year old gas will make tuning near impossible.

Well, i was beating it up on some jumps and two of my rear shocks blew up.
Whats a good replacement that's not going to break the bank or themselves the next time around?

You can just take them apart and rebuild them. It is much cheaper than buying new shocks. If the shocks are damaged (cracked shock body) the only other option that I know of would be the Team Integy shocks.

What type of oil can I use in them? I have some really light 5w oil that I use in the shocks of my mountain bikes. Would that work or is there a more specific type?

In my 8th Scale vehicles I run anywhere from 25-40 weight oils, but whenever I ran my Revo, I was anywhere from 50-60 weight. You can find shock oil at any hobby shop. Below is a link of what you are basically looking for.
